Volunteering Service at Krsna’s Free Meals

Community service provides students with valuable opportunities to learn beyond the classroom by engaging directly with the community and contributing to meaningful social initiatives. Volunteering at Krsna’s Free Meals allows students to help distribute food and support individuals and families experiencing food insecurity or other challenges.
Through this volunteering experience, students will gain practical exposure to community service while developing important personal and interpersonal skills. Working alongside volunteers and organisers, students will participate in activities that require teamwork, communication, responsibility, discipline, and cooperation.
By participating in the volunteering programme at Krsna’s Free Meal, students will develop greater empathy, compassion, and awareness of the needs of individuals and families within the community. Through direct involvement in food distribution and community service activities, students will gain a deeper understanding of the importance of supporting vulnerable members of society and contributing positively to the community.
Educational Visit to Esplanade and Marina Bay Sands 3 Aug 2026
This educational visit to the Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay and Marina Bay Sands is designed to provide students of Diploma in Business and Retail Management course with a holistic learning experience that integrates classroom knowledge with real-world business practices. As two of Singapore's most iconic landmarks, the Esplanade and Marina Bay Sands offer excellent examples of how retail, hospitality, tourism, entertainment, and cultural industries come together to create sustainable business value and exceptional customer experiences.
This experiential learning activity encourages students to apply business and retail management concepts learned in the classroom to real world settings. Through guided observation, discussion, and reflection, students will develop critical thinking, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills while gaining a deeper appreciation of industry best practices and professional standards. The visit also broadens students' understanding of the interconnected nature of the retail, hospitality, tourism, and service sectors, preparing them for successful careers in the business and retail management industry.
Civil Defence Heritage

The visit to the Sustainable Singapore Gallery provided an opportunity to learn about Singapore’s journey towards sustainability and its efforts in addressing environmental challenges. The gallery showcases Singapore’s strategies, innovations, and initiatives in areas such as water sustainability, energy efficiency, waste management, climate action, and sustainable urban development.
The gallery demonstrated how Singapore manages essential resources such as water and energy while balancing economic growth with environmental responsibility.
Through interactive exhibits and displays, participants learned about initiatives such as water recycling, green buildings, renewable energy adoption, and waste reduction strategies. The visit also highlighted the importance of collaboration between the government, industries, and the community in achieving sustainability goals.

Clean the Park Initiatives

The “Clean the Park” initiative for students was a community-based activity designed to engage students in environmental responsibility and civic participation. It was to promote environmental awareness, responsibility, and community engagement. It helped students understand the importance of maintaining clean, sustainable public spaces while encouraging teamwork and social responsibility. Through this activity, students developed positive habits and a sense of ownership towards their environment, contributing to both personal growth and a cleaner community. The students also learned to work collaboratively to collect litter, promote recycling, and raise awareness about environmental sustainability. It also provided students with an opportunity to develop teamwork, leadership, and communication skills in a real-world setting.
